Behind the Scenes & Documentary Series. Director · Cinematographer · Editor Over the course of two years, I directed, filmed, and edited an extensive collection of behind-the-scenes documentary content chronicling the creation of Flyover Chicago and its immersive ride film, Believe Chicago. My work spanned two original documentary series. Local Narratives was a collection of intimate short films spotlighting the Chicago musicians, artists, and local personalities who helped bring the experience to life, including acclaimed jazz trumpeter Corey Wilkes. Chicago Takes Flight followed the ambitious journey of building an attraction from the ground up, documenting everything from the creative development and production of the immersive pre-show and ride film to the attraction's grand opening at Navy Pier. Along the way, I captured the creative minds and intricate processes behind the experience, including the development and recording of the original score with composer Elliott Wheeler. Together, these films offer a look at the people, artistry, and collaboration required to bring an ambitious cinematic vision to life, while celebrating the city of Chicago at the heart of it all.
