Flyover - Canada II
Cinematographer & Editor | Long-Form Documentary Episode What does it take to bring the landscapes, people, and stories of Canada to life on a massive immersive screen? This behind-the-scenes documentary explores the making of Canada II, FlyOver's cinematic flying experience, taking viewers beyond the finished attraction and into the creative process behind its production. For this project, I travelled across Canada to capture several unique stories, from filming a street skier navigating the historic streets of Quebec City to documenting the iconic Bluenose II sailing off the coast of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Each location offered a different opportunity to capture the people, landscapes, and experiences that make Canada such an extraordinary place to film. I also documented the opening of the FlyOver attraction, capturing behind-the-scenes moments and interviews with Executive Producer Lisa Adams and Sherpas Cinema Director Dave Mossop. Their perspectives offered insight into the creative vision, logistical challenges, and collaborative effort involved in bringing an ambitious large-format production to life. As both cinematographer and editor, I helped bring these different stories together into a cohesive, long-form YouTube documentary episode. Combining on-location cinematography, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and the energy of the finished attraction, my goal was to create an engaging narrative that gave audiences a deeper appreciation for the people and creative work behind Canada II.
