Wedding Film Filmmaker & Editor I've always believed that wedding films are, at their heart, documentaries about love. Every couple has their own story, and what draws me to wedding filmmaking is the opportunity to capture those stories as they naturally unfold, without forcing moments or interrupting the magic of the day. My approach is rooted in documentary storytelling. I prefer to take a hands-off, observational approach, allowing the genuine emotions, spontaneous interactions, and beautifully imperfect moments to tell the story. Rather than creating a polished version of what a wedding should look like, I want to preserve what it actually felt like to be there. For Ana + Emily, we embraced this philosophy, incorporating Super 8 film, mixed media, and digital cinematography to create a nostalgic, timeless feel. I love the grain, texture, and imperfections of analog imagery, and how these elements can make a film feel like a collection of cherished memories rather than a traditional wedding video.
